At 18, I was working a tough, low-paying construction job that kept me away from my family and left little room to dream. But I’d always loved computers, and I wanted more—more time with my family, more opportunities, and a career that challenged me. Without a degree or a path to college, I set out to teach myself to code, knowing that it wouldn’t be easy.
While the world said it couldn’t be done, I was determined. After years of grinding through YouTube tutorials, Udemy courses, and late-night coding sessions, I landed my first role at a local startup. It changed everything. The excitement of building products, collaborating with a team, and learning from incredible mentors sparked a passion that I hadn’t known was possible.
With guidance from my Team Lead, I grew from self-taught coder to high-impact engineer, learning to build robust, meaningful solutions.
Today, I’m focused on helping junior developers succeed, sharing my knowledge of indie hacking and freelancing, and showing others that with the right approach, you can make a successful career without a traditional path.
I’m here to connect with like-minded developers, build meaningful projects, and explore freelance and contract opportunities.
If you’re looking for someone who combines technical skill with an entrepreneurial mindset, let’s connect—I believe there’s no better way to learn than to build.
